D HOT SHOPPE
This top-rated Caribbean restaurant is famous, not only in Halton but GTA-wide. Jerk Chicken is fall-off-the-bone good, and the rotis are plentiful and made extra delicious with their special gravy on top. There are 6 levels of heat starting from mild to suicide! We suggest starting with medium if you’re not sure what you’re signing up for! Tables are limited, so have a take-out backup plan. Located on Fairview St. in Burlington, just east of Walkers Line.
WINNIE’S
Winnie is a Jamaican-born entrepreneur operating a food truck (actually a trailer) in Milton. Offering traditional jerk chicken as the main fare, it often has a line up of patrons who have come to love the perfect blend of chicken and spices.
JusJerk Caribbean Restaurant
Authentic to the core! JusJerk is a favourite with Burlington residents and often compared with D Hot Shoppe down the road, also on Fairview. Try them both and see for yourself which is better. They are both outstanding in our opinion.
Irie Cuisine
Hidden behind the sound barrier of the QEW, on North Service Rd. in Oakville is this jem of a Caribbean restaurant. Known for their tasty jerk chicken, and ox tail soup.
Ranee’s Roti & Caribbean Cuisine
Caribbean flavour with emphasis on the West-Indian taste, Rannee’s offers many delicious dishes. Among them are: rotis (chicken, beef, goat, vegetable, chickpea, duck, potato and shrimp), jerk chicken, tandoori chicken, curry chicken, butter chicken, fish dinners, patties (chicken, vegetable and beef), rice, soup, pastries and more!

Situated in an office building in Burlington, the Sandwich Garden reportedly has a delicious jerk chicken special on Wednesdays.
